Join us for our next Workforce Development Roundtable as we bring together employers, educators, workforce professionals, and community leaders to explore one of today's most important workforce challenges: preparing a workforce in which every generation can thrive.
Today's workplace is more diverse than ever, with multiple generations working side by side—each bringing unique perspectives, experiences, and expectations. As industries evolve and workforce needs continue to change, we'll explore how employers are developing the next generation of talent while attracting and retaining a multigenerational workforce. We'll discuss the skills employers are looking for today and how education can better prepare students for tomorrow's workforce. In addition to this, we will examine the role community colleges, universities, and workforce partners play in building stronger talent pipelines, and what a workplace where every generation feels valued and supported actually looks like.
This won't be a lecture—it will be a conversation. Through a panel discussion and audience dialogue, we'll share ideas, explore solutions, and learn from one another as we work toward building a stronger workforce for the San Gabriel Valley.
(Location is subject to change, advance notice will be sent out in occurrence of this change.)
The meeting will take place in the board room located on the first floor of the Upper San Gabriel Valley Municipal Water District office.
Free parking is located in front of the office building and on the side streets.
