The Regional Leadership Academy empowers participants from San Gabriel Valley cities and businesses by offering a deeper understanding of key industries and their connection to local governance. The Academy is ideal for mid to senior-level city staff and decision-makers who seek to expand their regional impact and strengthen cross-sector collaboration. Participants will experience a hands-on approach to learning with in-depth field trips to major industry facilities, allowing them to explore real-world applications and gain valuable insights into local economic sectors. Additionally, the program offers exclusive networking opportunities, enabling members to connect with and learn from their fellow cohorts, sharing experiences and building relationships with peers from various industries. Participants will gain knowledge in critical topics such as intergovernmental relations, electric grid expansions and modernization, housing development, the future of public transit, water management and challenges in manufacturing &logistics.
